From her workshop, based in Northamptonshire, Helen designs and makes a collection of both Jewellery and larger Hollow Forms and Bowls taking inspiration from the Ancient Egyptian ritual of mummification. These bound forms of old, steeped in mystery and surrounded by the ancient beliefs of the Afterlife, continually offer a rich source of inspiration for her more recent Bound Jewellery Collection and larger pieces.

All these pieces are individually handcrafted and during the process of designing and making her Jewellery, Helen also likes to explore how two different metals in either Silver/Gold, Silver/Brass or Yellow Gold/White Gold can be interlocked … making up both the Spiral Collection and Bound Collection of Jewellery.

Events

This year Helen will be displaying a selection of Anubis Bound Forms and Anubis Bowl at Gallery57, Tarrant Street, Arundel, starting 6 June to 18 July 2026. This exhibition “Display & Function” explores how materials are used for either functional or display purposes and Helen will be showing her work alongside artists working in various disciplines.

Helen has been selected to take part in Shine 2026 … the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s annual showcase of the UK’s brightest new talent in Jewellery & Silversmithing.

Alongside 12 other designer/makers, Helen will be launching her new collection at the Goldsmiths’ Centre.  There will be a pop-up selling event on the 16 September which is free to attend, with the work available to buy on the night and online until 18 December.  Bookings open 12 August @gsmithscentre.
