Terms of Sale

Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions: On rare occasions, there may be information on the site that contains typographical errors or omissions that may relate to product descriptions and/or pricing. Helen Dugdale reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and cancel orders if any information is inaccurate, at any time and without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Limitation of Liability: In no case shall Helen Dugdale Jewellery be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind arising from any purchased products or for any other claim related in any way to your use of an item.

Only adults (persons aged 18 or over) who are lawfully entitled to enter into a legally binding contract under UK law can make a purchase on this website.

Returns & Exchanges

Hopefully you will be happy with your purchase from Helen Dugdale Jewellery but if, for any reason, you want to return an item, whether for exchange or refund, you have 14 days from receiving your goods, in which to do so.

Please contact Helen either by phone or email quoting your name, details of item/items ordered and reason for return before sending it back. The jewellery is your responsibility until it is received here at Helen’s studio, so it is strongly recommended that you use a postal or courier service that will insure the goods while in transit such as Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service (if you are in the UK). Return postal costs are your responsibility and must be returned in the same undamaged and unworn condition they left this studio and in the original packaging.

If returning the item from overseas, a Customs Declaration Form will need to be completed. The goods will need to be described as “Returned British Goods” in order to ensure that no additional customs fees are incurred on re-import to the UK. If an item is incorrectly marked resulting in a customs fee, this will be passed onto the customer and is likely to delay the returns process. Sales tax or duties payable will not be refunded unless the original item was structurally faulty.

Please note: If an item has been previously purchased with the free postage offered on Helen’s website, but then returned for a refund, the full shipping charge will be deducted from the purchase value.

Purchases exempt from both refund and exchange policies, unless faulty are:

  • Customised pieces (items that have been altered from their original design shown online)

  • Bespoke pieces
